Hi.
Was just wondering what has been the best fsb oc on an amd 32bits cpu? My best (but not entirly stable) has been amazing 250fsb on my mobo (nf7-s) but I don`t really feel safe at that speed, thats why i use 220 and slowly try out higher fsb.

Here is at least a screenie at 248 fsb, I have some problems with replicating the 250 boot as my room was way much cooler (about 6C, I live in Norway), and now my room is at 20C. I haven`t modded the heatsink on nb or the mb at all.
But I hope to be able to replicate the event soon (gonna have the windowall night) so I`ll post back eventually with the 250fsb setting.

I just achieved booting again at 250fsb to windows, but the screen was like in 8bits mode so it is definitly a cooling issue or problems with the agp lock.
I`ll test out some teories i`ve got, like putting an fan above the ram and giving them a little more volt, also I`ll try to see if it helps with more volt to the agp port, but im unsure about how much more i can give the card before I fry it.
A bit dissapointed I couldn`t get you any screenies, at last if you want i can take a snapshot with my digital camera of the post at 250 if any1 wants that.

lmfao , man i dont think overclocking would effect video depth unless you havent locked agp/pci , post it in 8bit mode anyway , we sill still be able to see.

Well, I got a corrupted boot message from windows stating that i had to use the recovery function from the install cds.
I rebooted, lowered the fsb and changed the memory timings and I could boot without problem. But I think I`m playing with fire right now, my best guess was that I was lucky when I booted at 250 fsb, the best I have been able to achieve without bsod (blue screen of death) has been 248fsb.
And yes, I do think temperature plays a big deal here, as the room temperature was at about 6C (42.8F), and now it is at 20C (68F). Anyway I will be checking and If I am able to boot at 250 I`ll of course post a screenie if I am able.

Well while I was cleaning dust inside my case I apparently found the cause to my unstability and problems in possibly attaining 250fsb. As you can understand out from the pics I am not going to try again, even with an new Psu.

I should say I'm lucky that I can still write this...
It seems the 12v is somewhat damaged, I plugged in the small square power cable and things seems to have stabilised somewhat (not so much fluctuating), but I have ordered a new PSU now. I found an NorthQ 4000 (400w) which has acceptable rails and low noise. Gonna get it in a weeks time, so untill then I'll have to cross my fingers and pray the mb don't burn up
