Cpu Voltage
« on: April 25, 2004, 12:37:16 PM »

is it normal and SAFE for the cpu voltage to exceed its recommended voltage requirements on stock setting

for example
the v core default for the 2400+ is 1.650
yet without changing the voltage nor oc'in the v core is between 1.648 and  1.664

my friend's 2000+ is vcore default 1.6
and fluctuates exactly between @ stock settings

his cpu is the JUIHB
and mine is the AIX** not sure though
but would that info matter

we both have the same mainboard and more or less the same hardware

Nah, it doesn't matter. My motherboard undervolts my cpu at stock settings so i have to set it higher than i actually want it. And yes it does change. Mine cpu goes from 1.65-1.68.
