Flickering Monitor
« on: March 25, 2004, 04:57:00 AM »

The monitor flickers occasionaly, and its not the standard flicker of a low refresh rate. It flickers hardcore at random. Can anyone help?

Is a cell phone or any other similar device sitting near it? Anything that could cause interference?

When I was living in dorms, the neighbour had stationed a very crap television just at the other side of the wall, I thought I was going to puke because of the random interference I got.

I even bought a new monitor because I thought the old one had died. Well, same problem with the new one, had to change the location of the monitor since the bastar d didn't want to move his tv an inch.

So yes interference could be your problem, try to relocate your monitor to another spot (even a couple of meters) and see if that could helps, and try also to eliminate interference...

Well, I had to move out since somebody sat fire to the neighbours tv  Grin .

I live in the zone near city syd/heimdal in trondheim if u know where that is.

And yes, a cruise missile would do the job as would a nice plazed slug.

Ps: I'm not active lately because of a broken arm, hell of work to just write with the left one.
