YEah the top is chrome plated.. and the red paint is the same paint they use on cars... this guy must have really put alot of work into his case.

I wouldnt call it the best case i have ever seen by a looong shot, but it looks like he has put heaps of effort into it, neat internals, window cutting, tracing the motherboard circuits, the scsi rack, switchs and offcourse painting the damn thing.
What i'd be worried about is getting fingerprints and scratches over the chrome. It aint to hard to get paint like that, just take it to someone who paints cars or the like, dont expect it to be cheap though.
