Well until a week ago I had never had a seagate die on me, then the two 20s in my sisters computer died, but since they both died at the same time makes me think that there was something wrong with the computer, not with the hard drive ....

Check temps once in awhile (*Bios , or Sis Software Sandra) , listen for any odd noises , and try to notice any slow down.

i have a total of 9 western digital drive not one ever had a problem i have had 5 maxtors in my time they are all dead
