Get a Zalman Heat Pipe. Period.

Hmmm I'd love to get one of those big ass heat pipes with that huge fan, but its pretty expensive over here. What do you think about this though?

The VGA Silencer is a really good solution, and in my opinion better than the Zalman. Been running one on my Radeon for awhile now, with great results...

BTW, the speeds you mentioned are probably not attainable without a voltmod. I can get those speeds, but have to increase the voltage to 1.8v...

Good luck....

Wow 460mhz core is pretty nice, mine tops out at about 430-440, and the memory does 365 no prob. I saw in someones sig on another forum that a guy was running his 9800 Pro at 525\425, I assume that was probably volt modded with water cooling? Anyways I might just leave me card for now, I dont want to go and do major mods on it, I'd probably kill it, knowing my luck haha. Anyway, thanks for the help guys.

well 460 has artifacts 440 and 450 are realy what i should of said for a clean run with no artifacts. anyways if i were you i wouldnt worry about it either. leave it stock,. no reason to change a thing unless your stock cooler has broken or your going to volt mod the card and just plain and simply need better cooling...

OMFG,

I just have my pro for 3 days but im almost sure you cant reach that. even with great cooling.
I got it from 378, 337 to 432, 480 that's my highest what worked.. But now im getting back @ 425,371

But I know a guy where I bought this one from, He has a Artic Vga Silencer on it that's over the WHOLE card, so if you would go for cooling
I would go for the zalman/Artic vga silencer.

But can you also put the volt from 1.5 to 1.6/1.7 from you card so you could increase the clocks a bit, And what can increase your vga card is puting the agp to 75, instead of 66 what usual is

So what does upping the agp frequency do? Sorry for going off topic but I've been curious for a while to whether it helps overclockability/performance...

Upping the AGP frequency will do nothing but cause you computer to crash.  Don't do it heh.
