Yes they provided that application for all of their card lines... The program itself is still handy for overclocking the card even though it has a heatpipe. Not every card they make has a fan, but this program supports all cards not just the 6600 DDR2

i've read the card overclocks very well (in all reviews i've read, 100+ mhz from stock, which puts the core at and above 6600GT speeds) and that's without any extra cooling

also the silent cooling covers the ram and so that should overclock well too.

im going to pick up a new motherboard, cpu, hdd and some more ram tomorrow, and i'll let you all know how it runs etc

im looking forward to overclocking it, though the thermal pads covering the ram dont make contact so ocing the ram will not be as good as it should be

My PC is put in a antec p180 case, made for good coolin and silence, WITH FANS. I'm runin the stock 7800gtx cooler and it's dead silent, it dosn't have to run fast at all. Even wen playin Need for speed most wante at like 1600x1200 with full eyecandy.

Since you got a free one, buying another for SLI can't hurt.  However keep in mind that you would also need a SLI mobo and SLI ready PSU.

Using some old parts left over from my last upgrade

card is good it's handeling 3d studio and autocad better than the 9600xt and can still surive games (well the ones she wants to play)

I can only manage about 506 core stable without any extra cooling, computer outside a case

With a fan blowing over my gfx and northbridge, i can get to about 523 stable

but without fan = artefacts...
