Hey there BlackHawk,
That isn't too high if that is what the temp really is. My P4P800, I use the AsusProb, and it reads about 14 degrees low, so I have to add that. Most times under load, I'm getting 36, plus 14, so there you have your 50.
From what I read, Intels have to get to 70ish, before there is extreme damage...

My 2.6c uses 1.625 volts for 3.3 but my board overvolts and according to mbm5 its at 1.65. Can boot at stock but crashes in aquamark. I used to use the stock cooler and the hottest my cpu ever reached, according to mbm5, was 51.

i couldnt tell you hat the stock cool is like on my itel rig cuz when i got mine it didnt work right out of the boxx sooo
