Finally see your pics, and lookin' good! Was interesting to see you might only have 14 & 15 multi's. Hopefully it will let you go just a bit lower. 12 - 15 would have been really boss. And that memory, wow! Some really great guy musta sent you that stuff!  Parting with bh-5, he must be some kinda saint... I just read a review where they claimed Prescott was a poor gaming performer. Was wondering if you noticed a lower than expected 3DMark score? Later.... yes i did infact i already have the chip up for sale! i just hope i can get my money back out of it? you know funny you should mention that about the multi's cause i was just going to ask you if you could use more then one extra multi on your es sample? i wonder if its just my mbs bios or this chip? i would think that unlocked means just that and i can use all multis but i can only use 14x or15x it must be my mbs bios?? peace perc, |

Perc, on the "multi" thing, yes I do have more. Mine does 12 - 15, which would cover the 2.4c up to the 3.0c. I really think it's something in the CPU. I tried 16x, and it was a total no go, but I could be wrong here...
Anyway, I'm sure you'll be able to get your money back for it...

well i just got around to tryin this pc4200 ocz stuff i got and im able to run 4gigs 1:1 at 1.51v wich isnt bad at all. stay tuned im going to try for 4400mhz today using the 3:2 divider...

ok i went for the max oc i can muster and it seems my memory is holding me back? the pc4000 geil stuff i use now well only go 285@ 3:2 so for now this is my max oc until i get a second stick of that pc4200 stuff i have sittin here. i have a feeling had i used the pc4200 stuff at 3:2 i may have hit 300x15 wich would of given me 4500mhz! this prescott fares nice i say....

And from what you have done i get the idea you would know how much these new parts would cost. -S that all depends stang? you can do it fairly cheap if you do your homework? the mach1 is around 480/500 bucks probly a little more now that they went out of buisness. what are you going to build an amd or an intel? personly i would build an intel cause the ocs are a little more of a sure thing. you can pm me with any questions you may have or simply just make a thread and we can talk about it in there.... good luck man i know you can do it... peace perc, |
