Sounds like they've learnt from their mistakes, the new n-gage is getting some positive press. John Romero the guy behind Doom and Quake is working on n-gage stuff.

he did one and it was just a port of red fraction, http://ngage.gamespy.com/n-gage/red-faction/491585p1.htmlit did aight, but then again n-gage isn't a good FPS platform, but its probaly one of the better n-gage games since then his company, www.monkeystone.com is working on another n-gage 3d game. Hall and romero now has a job at midway. hall is the creative director of third party Titles and romero is the project lead and lead designer on an internal PS2/XBOX project. although romero and his compnay did work on the games, its not enough of a reason to buy an n-gage IMO, even w/ the n-gage QD

Honestly. I am gunna stick with my GameBoy. Thing rocks, its really sleek. Its got more games then anyone could want. the n-gage is um "nice" its the best cellphone if you got a cell. But the games out arnt that great. For me its all about the games. The only thing I am really intrested in atm is that new Playstation thing that "may" be coming out in the future. But till then i am a nintendo fan all da way . -S

Gamebiz takes a look at the Gizmondo, Nintendo DS and Sony's PSP to see how they compare The war is heating up in mobile gaming. Currently the Game Boy Advance is the undisputed leader in the category today, with its competition Nokia’s N-Gage which is recently new to the market is struggling to make an impact. The battlefield is set, at the Los Angeles Convention Center for the 2004 Electronic Entertainment Exposition (E3). http://www.gamebiz.com.au/features.php?action=display&id=71

With the ngage's, or whatever there called, u have to concider how much you'd use it, cos really, when u go out u dont wanta be playing games, you wouldnt touch the thing at home if u wanta play games cos of the pc, there still so very expensive and i couldnt justify it for such a crap looking phone.

Trust me though, when you get a phone which allows you to play really cool games, you tend to find the time. Whether it be on the bus on the way to school, or when you're waiting somewhere or anything. Besides which, it allows for some killer two player games. You battle it out on your phones through bluetooth.

I don't have an N-Gage.. but I have a Nokia 6600, which runs on the same operating system as the N-Gage; Symbian. That means that I can install all N-Gage games on my phone as well. Yay. And I'm not sure how much they cost. I know that my phone cost about $900 when I first got it, but now it's down to about $650ish. And I bought it outright. If only I'd waited.

The n-gage looks really good. A lot better than the first design and I think they've had a go at addressing comments people made about it and fixed those features. I will be interested to know what the resoloution of the screen and how it works as a mobile phone...
