Rar files extracting them?
« on: February 11, 2004, 06:32:47 PM »

I have a problem I have some rar files and I am missing one file and I can't seem to get it anywhere. What's in the rar file you may ask it is a video file. I know how to extract and keep broken files but once it hits a broken or missing file it stops. Is there a way to have it keep extracting the file with out that one file? It happens to be the file in the middle so I am stuck with half of a video. Thanks for any help or suggestions you may have!! "Z"

hi,
if you have the file, but it is corrupt, you can try some recovery rar tools.. make a search on google. if you complitly miss the file you can try to rename the remaining files.. so that the unrar process continues.. I don't know if this will work, give it a try =]

I think that you can actually save a recovery record into RAR files, and then use some program to repair it...I'm at school atm so I can't find out where. Sad
