Help needed on oc 2500 to 3200 AMD

Hi all
My brother has a pc with the barton 2500xp chip in..he wants to oc to 3200...the mobo hes using is a ASUS A7V600-X
these settings we figured out
CPU SPEED=MANUAL
CPU FREQUENCY MULTIPLE=200
CPU EXTERNAL FREQUENCY= NEED HELP ON?Huh?
MEMORY FREQUENCY=?? He has ddr333..best settings?Huh?
CPU VCORE SETTING=1.7v

Help on the 2 settings above,the best memory setting & cpu external freq..would be very much appreciated

You'll need to set the FSB to 200mhz, the ram to BY SPD (This will make it run at the default settings for the ram 166mhz). You wont need to change the CPU multiplier as 11 is the same multiplier for a Athlon 2500 and 3200. You might need to add more voltage to get the CPU stable.

hi  probably instable?

hmm normal clock speed form 2500 barton is 1.83??
OC too 2.2.. if you want but do it right..
set vcore @ 1.775
memory voltage 2.7
fsb 200
multiplier 11

thats should stay stable...
only do it if you know what you do... its all on you...

than you have a 2.5 @ 2.2
