OCZ 4200 performance series
« on: June 02, 2004, 12:23:55 PM »

just picked up a pair of pc4200 ocz performance series for my intel rig. now alot of people like to go the tight timming route with these intels but i say its not worth it. intel doesnt take the performance hit like amd when it comes to loose timmings? plus with the bigger memory with intel you can actualy oc farther then with the tighter timmings. anyways check out the sandra score. this is at 270x15 1:1 not bad i say....

peace perc,

Really nice there Perc, proving your point about the timings.

Just for the fun of it, why don't you run the unbuffered test and see what scores you get? I been getting in the mid 3300's with this EB ram, just to give you a comparsion...

Later....

perc,

Nope Perc, I'm pretty much done. This rig is older, been stressed a lot, and without a major overhaul there is no point. I can play all my games fine, and that's all I have money for right now. This last episode cured me! Can't afford any more S**t...
